Sorry for the delay. The first recap and fanworks post will be up later today to demonstrate these things a bit more.

This FAQ was written, heavily referencing the [livejournal.com profile] redial_the_gate FAQ. I hope the mods there will forgive me.

Oh my, I am really getting late with this!

We are going to start this community's The West Wing rewatch next week. I am a bit pressed for time, so a rules post will come later today or tomorrow (please don't despair if you don't understand something I am saying here, I hope to clear it up later), but for now, these are the sign-ups for writing an episode recap / a meta post so that we can start next week.

There will be two episodes per week: one will be recapped on Monday and discussed Monday - Thursday and the other recapped on Friday and discussed Friday - Sunday. With that I mean that recap posts will go up on Monday and Friday and meta for that episode, should there be any should be posted in the following days.

Please comment to this entry if you would like to recap an episode or write a meta entry. I will take the first date, so you'll have a few more days to sign up for this. Please only claim one episode (and as much meta as you'd like) at first.

Please also feel free to link this. The more, the better!

Since there is some interest in an organized The West Wing rewatch, here is a poll about some more details.

I am a big fan of [livejournal.com profile] redial_the_gate, which is a community rewatching Stargate: SG-1, currently at the end of season 6. They do two posts per episode: one community member does a recap of whatever length they want, where people can discuss the episode, and one mod post where people can comment linking to fanworks that have something to do with the episode. During the week, people can post meta about the episode. We could follow that format, we could do without the meta (but there doesn't have to be one per episode!), we could do without the recap and just have one general post made by a mod to discuss the episode.

Most people were for either one or two episodes a week, so I am asking again, hoping to get a clearer vote :) Also, we need a starting date.

And I am evil and like to force answers by using radio buttons :)

[personal profile] yvi and I thought that doing a community organized rewatch might be a fun activity for the purposes of community building and bonding and general fun and revelry, or something like that. So, a poll:
